A spot of shopping

I can't quite remember the way to Tesco but I'm sure it's down here somewhere?

Things to do

I'm going to transfer all of these stones into this watering can. It's a big job, but someone's gotta do it.

I tried putting the stones in this hole, and they do go down, but my first strategy was a much better idea. Back to the grindstone...

Wellies for Whincop

Now that the weather is starting to cool down, we have invested in a pair of wellies so I can jump in all the puddles outside.

They are a bit big, though, so I'm still learning how to walk in them!

Helping Mummy

We are making a banana cake today; my first job is to help crush the walnuts.

What great fun, who ever said cooking is boring?

More?

Probably my favourite thing about Autumn is the blackberries.

Please, sir, may I have some more??

Blind's man bluff

I guess Daddy got tired of my knocking down all his hard work and wanted to head home. No matter how much I tried to dissuade him, he eventually found the car.

A quick paddle

All this tearing down of castles, is wearing a bit thin - I'm off for a paddle in the lovely blue water.

Oooooooooooh. The North Sea in Autumn is very cold... change of plan, back to sandcastles - get building Daddy.

The foolish man built his castle upon the sand.

Daddy and I are playing sand castles together. He constructs...

and I do what I do best, demolish.

Off to the beach.

Sun's out today, so all of Britain will be at the beach. Oh well, when in Rome....

We headed for Tynemouth on the North Sea coast.

Go Aussies!?!

Daddy got very excited about some people in a boat - apparently the Aussies beat the British in the Olympics!

Hang on a second, I am British by birth Dad...stop making me celebrate. (I was cheering on the outside, but I had my fingers crossed).

Cold fingers

The straw doesn't quite get the last few drops, so I have resorted to my old favourites ... my fingers.

Mastering the milkshake

Berries blitzed with yoghurt and milk taste yummy...

... especially now that I have figured out how this groovy, bendy red straw works.

Boy Racer

Hey baby, do ya wanna go for a spin in my hotrod?
Nice and cosy with just the 2 of us...

Peekaboo

Our faces say it all - Catherine is great fun!!

Like Father Like Son

Daddy spends lots of time in the kitchen, and sometimes I get some personal tuition - this is my class in gingerbread making. See that glint in my eye - it's rolling pin envy.

Believe it or not, some gingerbread biscuits actually emerged from the oven (though not as many as was originally planned - biscuit dough is delicious!!)

A Well Deserved Rest

After all that swimming, I'm ready for a lovely big drink of milk, a cuddle with mummy, a story (or 2) and a nice big long snoozle. Bliss!!

Civilised Swimming

Now that's more like it - a properly HEATED pool!
(One for the 21st birthday perhaps?!)
