You can't see my 2 teeth in this photo, but let me assure you they are now sparkling clean and I am ready for my bedtime story.

Brushing my teeth with Barney

Barney the friendly dinosaur is showing me how to brush my teeth - I hope I don't have to rock backwards and forwards and sing that naff song to make sure they are are clean!?

Mum and Dad get very excited when I stick the right end of this thing in my mouth; it does taste terrible but I will humour them (for now...)

Noah and I

Ma and Pa, here is my new ark in use - see it actually floats...
at least until cyclone Dylan strikes! Really, I just wasn't happy that Noah had dolphins in the ark - highly unlikely!
And by the way, Dad, now that I am 1, I think I should graduate to the big bath, so I have more room to play.

Unwrapped

I loved unwrapping my birthday presents, but the one from Ma and Pa was a bit daunting...

With some carefully controlled tearing, things were under control again. I wonder if I could get a job unwrapping presents?

Mr Ed

I got a horse from Mum and Dad for my birthday, how cool is that?! I tried feeding it some hay, but it musn't have been hungry.

First Birthday Party - October 13th

For my first birthday, we had a small party at my friends' house - Tom and Catherine even made me a brilliant ice cream cake - the one that Dad is eyeing off!



They set fire to some cupcakes (which was a bit drastic, I thought they were rather delicious) and then everyone started singing?!! Very wierd!

Hadrian and the herefords

Paying a family visit to Hadrian's wall.

The Romans built this 65mile long wall to keep the Scotts out of their empire. I don't know what the Romans had against us Scotts?!! Thankfully my Australian passport means I can cross over any time I like, though I'm not sure this wall would keep out anything more than a herd of cows nowadays!!

Pay back!!

Now time for some payback for letting me be dunked under the water (and one extra pinch for laughing!)

Dunking!

Well, I was enjoying myself... until the nice lady grabbed me and held me underwater for a very very long time. How did she expect me to breathe under there? I tried and it doesn't work!!
Anyway, thankfully daddy was there to rescue me from her evil schemes, - mind you daddy was laughing! I was not happy!! (Daddy wasn't too happy either when I snotted all over him when I came up)

Water Baby - 5th October

Mum and Dad were all excited about my first swim, but I had some reservations over the garishly bright swimming trunks they bought me - not very masculine!



Once I got into the water though I relaxed a bit, and even enjoyed myself.

Actually, it was great fun and I loved it; I even got a compliment on my 'funky' swimmers!!

Little Geordie

I must really be living in the North East of England - mum and dad have already got me on the chips!

I think I'll wait for the deep fried mars bar!

Music Man

Mum and Dad want me to love music, so there will be no peace and quiet now!!

Groovy ugs

Just trying on my groovy new shoes from my friend Jan in Australia - I still have a bit of growing to do, so they will fit me perfectly when the really cold weather hits (and in the meantime I will have fun pulling at all the fluffy threads!)

Real fun in the Riley

Tom took mum and me for a ride in his Riley and it was so much fun!!!
(I told you my jacket would come in handy!!)

We only went as far as the front gate, but it was an excellent expedition none-the-less!

My first tooth - September 13

I'm feeling a wee bit grumpy today - my first tooth is trying to make its way down and I don't think I want any more because they really hurt!!.

Disaster Zone

I love my winnie the pooh activity gym (another thanks to my friend Luke!!), especially when mum and dad leave me to my own devices for a while - if I kick the posts in just the right spots, it all comes tumbling down!!

Stretched to the limit

Mum, you're surely not serious?!!! These are not shorts, they are supposed to be tracksuit pants for a 5lb baby (last seen in January blog!)!!!!!

I think the shirt might be a bit small too, but that is more because of the size of my ginormous belly.
