Who's that watching me?

Well here I am in Aunty Carly and Uncle Don's place in another (small!) bath and yes, I have an audience; Dad was there (of course), grandma was watching on, and so was this little person in the mirror - it was so nice meeting someone else my own size, we had a good giggle together!

Apart from bath time, my favourite past-time is having a kick on my mat in the sunshine (they don't have much sun in England, so I am making the most of it while I am here in Queensland!)

I usually have a play on my back and then spend some time on my tummy. I can do little push ups, but I'm having a bit of a rest in this photo 'cause its hard work!! I rolled over today for the first time, so Dad was very proud (Mum missed it, so she was a bit disappointed - I'll have to do another roll for her tomorrow).

Lots of attention!

It's great being the centre of attention...

but gee, I do have my modesty to consider; I'm in the bath guys!!

My little family

Mum said that this is how big our family is allowed to be, so it looks like I have some negotiating to do.

The McGuire clan

I want 3 brothers and 3 sisters just like Mum had, I think that would be really nice, I'd have lots of people to play with...

And then when we all get together, it would look like Grandpa and Grandma's clan!

It was so nice meeting the rest of mum's family - and next time we meet up this picture might be even bigger.

Couch Potato

I thought I'd just put my feet up for a minute and watch some TV; Dad tried to explain to me the finer points of Aussie rules football, but I must take after Pa, cause I found it hard to keep my eyes open.

Aunty Sarah

Another plane trip meant I got to meet Aunty Sarah, Greg and my cousins Jackson and India.

I had some lovely cuddles with Aunty Sairs and was quite happy to be the object of her adoration. It wasn't long, though before I earned my nickname 'chucka' and Aunty Sairs passed me back to Grandma!

Dedication - March 25th

Pastor Glen welcomed me into the Spring Street Church family today - he prayed that God would help mum and dad bring me up to be a nice young fella. It was a dedication rather than a baptism since mum and dad want me to decide for myself when I would like to be baptised.

It was nice meeting everyone at the church, since that was where my mum and dad met, all those years ago. We had a really nice lunch and some delicious cake - I'll be having some of that tomorrow since mum had several pieces!

Thanks to Ma and Pa for organising such a lovely day for me.

Its fascinating!

I just love staring up at the ceiling! Thankfully I usually lie on the floor which gives me a good uninterrupted view, but when mum and dad put me in the swing, I have to get a little creative to see what's going on up there!

ps mum has been a bit slack in updating my blog, this photo was actually taken on March 23, just after I was 5 months old.
