Take me riding in my car, car...

Its another lovely day; we're on a roll!

Mum and I are off to the park - excellent news! I love playing on the swings and going on the round-about (but mum and dad both get seasick - what a pair of wooses!)

Sunbaking

Oh, that sunshine feels delicious on my legs; how about a bit of that oil to help my suntan along?

I think I'll keep my face in the shade for now cause mum and dad always laugh at my funny squinting face.

July 30th - Sunshine

I took note of todays date because it is sunny- a bit of an unusual occasion for a summer's day in the north of England!
To celebrate, Mum and I went on a lovely walk through the countryside and I wore my hat with the English flag on it (actually it is my friend Luke's hat - thanks Luke!).

We picked a selection of flowers on the way, but if they
don't tast good, I'm not interested. It is so nice to get out of the house, though!!!

Proof

This is a bit of an odd aspect, but it is proof that I can sit by myself and that I now have some hair on my noggin - its hard to tell, but my hair looks kind of light brown and maybe even a bit ginga?

Thrown about

Dad and I have this game that he is teaching me. He grabs hold of me, throws me up in the air, and all I have to do is giggle and enjoy myself. Just hope Dad also keeps up his end of the catching bit and all will be fine.

PS. Did you notice dad and I are colour co-ordinated, both with our trackies on for maximum streeeetttccchhhhh.

Strike

The blog-writers are on strike until we get some comments on the last beautiful photo. There are a few more gorgeous ones waiting in the wings until some gushing has been received.

I got Stripes

Just chillin here on my sheepksin rug... I just got back from nursery, where I had great fun playing with all the toys. Mum leaves me there for an hour every day so I can get used to being 'on my own' - not that I get lonely, cause there are other kids to play with. The girls seem very nice and we have great fun playing together!!

Everyone thinks my stripey shirt and matching stripey socks are pretty groovy!

Toga party

Mum, I'm not your dress up doll! You may think it looks cute, but my knees are freezing and there's a breeze whistling right up my ...

Bathtime

Bathtime is a bit more colourful with my winnie the pooh stacker set - I love watching the waterwheel turn!

I missed my lounge chair at first, but now that I can sit up, it's not so bad. (I think Dad missed it more than I did!)

Lessons

Oh Mum, I don't know where this one goes - can we play a different game now?

Sitting by myself - July 20th

These blocks are great to play with, especially now that I can sit up by myself (5 seconds counts(!) though I do tend to topple over sideways if I'm left by myself for much longer than that.)

I'm catching you Becky!

I am almost as big as Becky now, so I must be nearly fully grown - but then, how tall are you Becky?

Laughs with Dad

Even though Dad spends most of his time doing something called a PhD, he does come down sometimes and we have a good old chuckle together.

(I think this shirt is finally too small for me - it got a lot of wear though, thanks Mads!)

Boss Hogg

Dad reckons this photo looks like him when he was a little Boss Hogg (remember dukes of hazzard? I don't.. though I'm not so sure I like being called a hog, being called a boofa is bad enough!)

All gone?

That was so delicious I could eat another bowlful, but the spoon will have to do for now.

I don't have any teeth yet, but I can still get a good grip with my gums!
