My Cosy Coupe

Now that the weather is a bit nicer, we can spend a bit more time outside, so I finally got to ride in my cosy coupe!

I need some reverse lights since I can only go backwards so far - is it all clear back there?

Talking with Grandma

The internet is amazing, I can see Grandma waving to me from Australia!

Back Home Again

Right, our holiday's over, so I think I'll do some vacuuming.

You just sit there and relax dad.

Taking turns

Cuddles from Mum

and cuddles from Dad. What a lucky little boy I am.

R&R in Rome

Well I'm glad to see this nice patch of grass, its nice to be able to get out of the pram for a change!

I wonder if Dad will notice if I get rid of it altogether?

The Capitol Museum (again)

Well, I guess this Constantine must have been a pretty big fellow...

he must have been even taller than my Dad!

The Pantheon

Wow, the Pantheon is amazing,

but I think we should ask Pa to come and fix that great big hole in the roof over there!

Piazza Navona

Mum thought it might be nice to take time out to 'smell the roses'.
I think that phrase usually refers to smelling roses that are not lying amongst last night's discarded rubbish in one of the busiest squares in Rome...

Hey, that tickles!

The Capitol Museum

Hey Dad, I can't quite make out what this plaque says, can you read it to me?

Well, since the Capitol Museum is closed today (?!?!) I think I'll do a few laps of the courtyard.

Day 3

Well, we're off again for some more sight seeing.

I like to sit forward in my chair to make sure I don't miss a thing.

(Aren't I so gorgeous?!)

The Palatine Hill

What great views there are from the top of this hill; Mum can I borrow your sunnies to get a better look?

Sleepy Boy

I don't know if I can keep up this pace, I'm exhausted...

Growth Spurt

Hey look, I'm taller than Constantine's Arch!

Inside the Colosseum, Finally!

Wow, looks like there have been clever builders like my Pa around for a long time, this place is amazing!

In Line for the Colosseum.....

It was fun for a while,

but this line is soooo long!

Day 2: The Colosseum

Next on the itinerary is the Colosseum which is just around the corner from our B&B.

End of Day 1 - Pooped!

Can we head back now? I'm capoopled.

(And Mummy and Daddy have VERY sore feet!)

The Spanish Steps

We met some very nice horses (and the man very kindly warned me that the horse would bite if I pulled his hair again)

And then went for a little wander on the famous Spanish Steps.

The Trevi Fountain

Can you see Mum and me right up the front next to the water? I had a lovely splash in the water and then a lovely loud scream when it was time to leave.

Giggles with Dad

Dad and I are just having a bit of a breather .

This is such fun!!

In Trouble in St Peters

Ooooh, the marble under my bare feet feels so lovely and cool (until the security man told me to put my shoes back on).

Crowds at St Peters

Can you see us in this crowd?
No, neither could Mum.

When we finally met up, this is what I could see (ie the back of my eyelids).

The best way to see Rome

We're off to see the sights of Rome..

this is a great view from up here - how are your shoulders feeling Dad?

Breakfast in Rome

I've ditched the spoon and highchair for my first breakfast in Rome - croissant with nutella, yum!
