Christmas Shopping in Durham (6 days to go!)

I look a bit like a stuffed doll in this photo, but other people seemed to think I was gorgeous - a nice lady offered to take this photo for Mum and me.

Hey, there's a big man with a red suit; and he's wearing the same hat as me, how embarrassing?!

Some more gardening

We went foraging for holly in the grounds of the estate where our friends Tom and Catherine live - it was fun to get into the Christmas spirit.

No Tom, that is NOT holly!

A little Gardening

Hey - there's a tree growing in the lounge room!

I'll just help Dad put some of this gold stuff on the tree, he seems to think that it is important.

Outing

All wrapped up for an expedition to the shops.

I love my new car: as we going whizzing around the block I just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Preparing for Xmas

Dad, I like your idea of giving me to mummy as a xmas present, but do I have to be wrapped too? We might need a bigger bag, they all seem to have shrunk since last year!

Little Drummer Boy

As you can see, I recently got a chance to temporarily upgrade my toy drum for a real drum set. All that practice at home meant I knew exactly what to do ...
... eat the drumstick?! No, really I was a natural at making noise - you might notice my friend Catherine had to get out of the way as I launched into my drum solo. Rock on!

Happy bath

Do you think I enjoy bath time?

You can see in this photo that I bumped my head in the bath, probably while I was trying to get away from another dowsing!

Rinsed Off

DYLAN, Ready, Go!
I get it! Enough with the swimming lessons in the bath.

Now that is more like it? The whale is much friendlier than the usual waterfall!

Anticipation

I love watching the bath fill up because it means I will be in it soon!!

But Mum, did you have to post a photo of my bare bum?!

Time for a cuddle

I'm not feeling so flash, and I need a big cuddle from mum. Maybe its the colour of my pjs that are making me feel ill?

Swimming while its snowing?!

Daddy let go of me underwater this time - it must have been an accident, surely they don't expect me to swim underwater by myself ??!!

Don't let go of me Dad, I'll sink to the bottom!

Thankfully the water in here is a bit warmer than the day out there!!

Let it Snow! (Nov 23)

What is that white stuff falling from the sky?

It feels kinda nice!

We have warm clothes on now, but when the snow first started, mummy rushed out here while we were sill in our PJs!

Even so, its freezing out here, lets go back inside.

All rugged up

Ok, so I need all these clothes to keep me warm, but how is one expected to move? As if this jacket is not bad enough, I can't pick anything up with these mittens (is that part of the plan?).

My pram has a nice foot muff, so I don't have to worry about the wind whistling up my trouser legs anymore, but when we go into a shop, all these lovely warm things turn me into a sauna and my cheeks go bright red!

Full of wonder

After a spot of lunch mummy showed me the merry-go-round, but I am still not sure why going around and around would make anyone merry - sick more like it.

Dad wanted to put this photo in to show you how much storage capacity I have in my cheeks - he shouldn't be laughing though, because I got them from HIM! HA HA!

Out and about

Just out for a spot of lunch 'al fresco' in the market square ie hot chips on a park bench, on a cold and slightly damp day...

Dessert (a banana) kept me on the go for a few more hours, watching everyone possessed by the Christmas spirit.

New Toy

Boy, I am spoilt! Here I have another new toy all for me; Mum and Dad must be spending a fortune! Dad can make some funny sounds come out of this deluxe cardboard tube, but all I get is a mouth full of cardboard.
Like my snazzy new jumper?

Hold On!

Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.....

Hey - make up your mind - one minute its 'hold on' to stay ABOVE the water and the next its swim UNDER water?!!!

Mother and Son

There's a few photos of Dad and I at the moment, so here's a couple with my mummy.

Mummy had to put me down soon after this because I weigh a bit more than I used to!!

Whincop and Son

Daddy, you can try and whisper suggestions, but I think I want to be a train driver, especially if they get to wear cool hats like this one (thanks Rachael and Bozza)

Pooped

After all that swimming, and creating all this havoc, I'm done in - how about you daddy?

Good idea, that's just what I was thinking ...

Limbering Up

Just taking a few moments to limber up before taking the plunge..

poor old daddy, I think next week he should do the stretches with me, because I never end up with sore arms at the end of the lesson!
