10 000 steps?

We visited the Temple of 10,000 Budhas in Sha Tin. Mum swore there were 10,000 steps up to the temple rather than 400!
The light in this photo looks promising, but I didn't find enlightenment at the top.


I have no idea why they call this the 10,000 buddhas?

The view was excellent from such a vantage point, but it was a rather long way up and there was lots of sweatiness and complaining going on.
